Crowning Disrupters As Altruistic Heroes, Is Always Unwise...

because they always operate on their paths, schedules and agendas.

I wrote the following as a comment on J.D. Rucker’s Substack and thought it would make a good article.

So why did I pick that particular picture of Musk, for this article. It was because, it depicts the point I made in the title…Musk, like many disrupters, operates on his own path, schedule and agenda.

When Musk lit that joint up on Rogan’s show, people lost their minds…”how could he do that…he just lost his company…what will shareholders think…he’ll never be able to sell another Tesla…who’s going to take him seriously now…he’s must be crazy…he’s so irresponsible…doesn’t he know how bad the optics of that are…” and on and on. They were all wrong, in part because they had crowned him as Hero, of their respective ideological strongholds.

At each turn, he has clearly shown, he is not that and doesn’t want or pretend to be.

Elon is a disrupter, much like Assange and Trump.

Disrupters are like a strong wind. To some they may be an exhilarating, cleansing force, clearing problems, issues and oppression. For others, that wind may represent a destructive, devastating force…destroying work, structures or systems.

To each "side" the force is something different, until it does an ideological 180 and becomes the total opposite, to those two respective sides. Disruption is never constant, which means it won’t always be seen, as a force of good. The disruptor, is on his/her own path, schedule and agenda...which may align with yours, for a moment or two. That is where we are, with Musk now.

For those lauding Musk, for his most recent moves (me included)…that have the left losing their proverbial SHEE-IT...I caution you on crowning him your next hero. As a matter of fact, I caution you on crowning ANYONE your hero. To do so, means you (the majority of you) will refuse to question that disruptive hero, when they make that 180 turn and do something, that’s not so good for your side.

For instance...Musk announced his Neuralink is nearing human trials. For many affected by brain/neurological issues, this is exciting news. For those who are fighting against an AI/Surveillance state, this is far from good news. Lets say, he get's things rolling and it shows great promise/effectiveness...much like the mRna research did decades ago. When pharma, tech and the government get ahold of it/tap into it, then what will you think? Musk will sell the tech, he’s a business guy...money is what he is about...which is fine, as far as I'm concerned.

Him making money isn't the problem. The problem is and has always been, people making him (and other disruptors) out to be an altruistic savior/hero.

Always remember: The enemy of my enemy, is not necessarily my friend…he is just the enemy of my enemy.

Musk, like Trump, is blowing up the lib/left, for his own amusement, ego and vengeance/vindication. In his shoes, I’d gleefully do the same thing and revel in watching them squirm and melt into beta puddles. But to be clear…he IS NOT doing all this for you/us...it just happens to align, with what we agree with/want.

All that to say, enjoy the show, but refrain from crowning a savior hero...he has no such altruistic intentions. Twitter is simply a platform, from which to launch his AI and X (the everything app) projects and to generate easy revenue, from a proven platform. Make no mistake, he will continue to sell your info and sensor you, based on HIS parameters. Nothing has really changed here folks…this is a business to him…not a crusade.

Lastly he is a money elite and like all money elites, he has no idea who you are, past a number, on the twitter tally board.
