Especially The Rich Martha's Vineyard Ones
It would seem that in 2022, FEMA had plenty of money to award The Martha’s Vineyard town of Oak Bluffs $10M for preventative erosion control. Yes, you read that right - not disaster relief, not people devastated and homeless, but to prevent beach erosion.
Let that sink in for a moment. In a town where recently sold homes range from $4.6M to $850K, the obiden FEMA department gave them $10M to mitigate beach erosion.
Bet you didn’t see that story on the regime new outlets or hear mayorkas saying in 2022, “FEMA will not have the funds to make it through the Martha’s Vineyard Beach Erosion Season”.

BOSTON (AP) — A town on Martha’s Vineyard is getting a $10 million federal grant to help rebuild a badly-eroded bluff and protect a key road from storm surge and sea level rise.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency said Thursday that Oak Bluffs was awarded the “pre-disaster mitigation” grant to help pay for reconstructing 1,200 linear feet of the original engineered coastal bank and stone revetment along East Chop Drive, on the northern coast of the island.
The project is expected to cost $16.9 million, with the remainder paid by the town. The town approved the funding but also applied for a $3 million grant from the state to reduce its share.
FEMA officials said they want to help build more resilient infrastructure in a town that’s committed to addressing coastal erosion hazards, including those caused by climate change.
This project will include regrading and planting native plants to increase the stability of the bluff and reduce erosion hazards, and the revetment will be extended.
Just to recap:
Poor lower and middle class, Animals who are drown, homeless, some starving and dying of thirst and lost everything, are getting a one time payment of $750.00. And yes, they could get more money later, if they fill out mountains of paperwork and it is then “approved” by the same bureaucrat sh*theads that are murdering them now, with apathy and neglect.
Rich elite Animals who’s beach front property is eroding and threatening their Million dollar homes received $10M from FEMA. No storm or devastation required.
That should piss you off - because in part, that was your and the Helene victims taxes and the abusive past/present squandering of it, on non emergency spending, should be glaringly clear to everyone in the country today.
Now, I have nothing personally against the Americans that live in Oak Bluffs. If they’d been devastated by a storm, had their town washed away and thousands killed, I’d be just as pissed if the government murdered them, through intentional neglect, apathy and negligence.
But that’s not the case and that $10M could have been used elsewhere and at another time.
They just don't seem to care what people think anymore. They are blatantly letting people die all over the states.

The image with the proposed stone embankment (is embankment the right word ?) is a waste of money: just piling rocks isn't enough. Presumably, the proposition contains details on driving bollards (I think they're called that?) into the ground first, possibly doing rows of them out in the sand too.
I've lived in an area over here with the same problem: rich schmucks buying beach-front property, then crying to state to come save their luxury homes.
How about some due diligence before buying, hm?
