Hey America...what's in your wallet ?
A government reporting device, in the form of a plastic square, with a chip in it.
As I hope all of you have heard, three major credit card companies (Visa, Master Card & Amex) agreed to separately categorize sales, of gun shops. Since there is no law against credit card companies doing this (they already do it for other types of purchases) or sharing customer info with the government, it then becomes a matter of any 3 letter agency gathering that information and then creating a National Firearms Registry from it.
If this wasn’t such a serious issue, I’d delight in rubbing the noses of my fellow 2A advocates in it, who proudly proclaimed for the last couple of decades -
“They’ll never be able to take our guns, it’s against the law…they’d have to pass an amendment to the constitution, to have any gun control in this country…a national registry is illegal…let ‘em try, there is more of us than them…”
None of them were connecting the Dots, as the years went by…And now we are here.
So what Dots could have led up to this sad day, in consumer privacy & gun rights??
There were many, on 3 parallel tracks, that were working to the same end…which we have not reached yet. That’s the good news. The bad news is, the end goal is gun confiscation.
Thoughts first…
The constitution is only as good as the will of people to defend it and hold it’s enactors (read sitting politicians) accountable.
Stop for a minute and consider this…the Constitution was finally ratified 6 years after the end of the Revolutionary War, to replace the Articles of Confederation. The men responsible, had just lived through/fought that war, to protect the God given freedoms, they were being denied. Even if (as many will point out) they didn’t fire the first shot, they did engage in a military action, based on the Declaration of Independence, which indicates…
“we not only have the right but we also have the duty to alter or abolish any government that does not secure our unalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”
My point is, it’s not a far stretch, to think their mindset would’ve been colored by their recent fight against tyranny. As they wrote the document, that outlined the rights of citizens and duty of their government, they must have imagined that future generation undoubtedly would stand against tyranny in the same way, if pushed to the same limits.
Of course today we know, they most decidedly will not. Going back to my article on Dot #1, those who were once free citizens, have traded that gift for three things…Comfort, Convenience and Entertainment.
Back to the credit cards…and the Dots.
Three tracks led to this event
Positioning - Place trained acolytes in all sectors of world governments, economies & business.
I’m just going to focus on the WEF here, however, as a commenter pointed out, we cannot leave out the families that have altered the paths of history, for their own financial & power gains (hat tip to Phantom Stranger).
Decades ago, these Global Elites/organizations started placing their acolytes in positions of power. Governmental, commerce, NGOs, private corporation, and educational posts were filled and held, by them. Over time that process was repeated and today you can see that their collective presence spans the globe.
Here a few the WEF’s Global and Young Leaders Of Tomorrow, just in the U.S.:
Mark Zuckerberg, Huma Abedin, George P. Bush, Pete Buttigieg, Julian Castro, Tom Cotton, Daniel Crenshaw, Mike Espy, Tulsi Gabbard, Gabrielle Giffords, Nikki Haley, Benjamin Jealous, Kwame Kilpatrick, Adam Kinzinger, Gavin Newsom, Jared Polis, Samantha Power, Kristen Silverberg, Elise Stefanik, William Steiger, John E. Sununu,
Thanks to Dr. Malone for the research. See his other lists of WEF Acolytes on his Institute website and Substack post (with lists that date back to 1993).
Davos Man, his World Economic Forum, and his Servants
The Narrative - Introduce an acceptable, non-radical narrative, into everyday conversation and the MSM cycle. At the same time unleash the radical/extreme/activist arm of your movement, to push the extreme version of your narrative.
This is a two fold move. 1) It focuses attention on the loud, crazy activists diversionary arm in front of the cameras, instead of on the actions happening in board rooms, financial institutions and government backrooms. 2) Since the public is focused on the extreme version of the narrative, anything less seems more reasonable and acceptable. An example is high capacity magazine restrictions…which is more reasonable than say a total gun ban. Or proposing a law going from 30 round to 10 rounds magazines…that also seems more reasonable than a total gun ban…to most sheeple and law makers? Once the “reasonable” side of their argument is entertained/accepted, it’s then just becomes an exercise in Incrementalism. This is what their long game, is always based on.
Circumvent The System - If you can’t beat The System, go around it, until you CAN beat it.
This track, relies heavily on the first, of Positioning and the WEF’s Great Rest global agenda. With key business and political positions filled worldwide, implementing Stake Holder Capitalism and the accompanying ESG, was easy. They can then use these tools, to exert pressure (if needed) on private corporations…to legally do, what the government is constitutionally prohibited from doing or unable to do.
Back to present day and the three credit card companies.
Let’s connect a few more Dots. This is what I call carrying an action to it’s illogical conclusion. I say illogical, because from a conservative POV, it is illogical. From a leftist POV, it makes perfect sense.
Credit card companies have taken this step. Why would they stop there?? They are the first non-retail, private sector entity to choose a side and just opened the door for all others. After this move, why wouldn’t they start refusing to service gun and ammo retailers? How about cancelling the cards of those who make gun purchases? You need them more than they need you…don’t think so?? How many of you cancelled your Visa, MC or Amex cards, since this story broke? After COVID lock downs and in this economy, how many of you could afford to do so??
As this type of corporate activism gains momentum, why wouldn’t other companies follow suit? They would, especially if it boosts their ESG scores and was a virtue signaling opportunity. Insurance companies, could refuse to cover anyone who owns a gun, citing higher risk factors. Banks could refuse to service those on the gun lists, citing that their ESG score would suffer if they had gun owning customers. What if they refused to carry your home or car loan…or cancelled your bank accounts??
I hear you all saying, “They can’t do that”. Maybe not, but that’s what EVERYONE said about religious exemption requests, for the jabs…but they did it. By the time any court cases are won or even brought to trial, those who were fired, laid off or discharged, were/will be financially ruined. Do you have the money for a legal battle against a large corporation? Can you cover the legal fees, as well as all your other bills at the same time??
As with COVID tyranny, they will offer you a deal…”just turn in your gun & ammo and everything goes back to normal”. Since you’ve seen this tactic before, expect it going forward.
Sounds crazy right…well how many things happening in the world today, would have sounded crazy just 3 years ago?
You have to connect these Dots. You have to know what’s coming, in order to be able to prepare, plan and fight.
Start looking at the issue we’re dealing with today and make yourself carry them out to their illogical conclusions. It’s the only way to get ahead of the leftists, who’ve continually been decades head of us, for quite some time.
Last note - realize that this singular issue (credit card companies reporting gun/ammo sales) is also a Dot. in the bigger picture. Always remember to look past the distraction of a single issue, to the larger goal.
Brilliant post Connecting the Dots!
