Hm. I'd classify Clinton as a Horny Toad, Obama as a Hyena, and Biden as a houseplant that needs watering 2-3 times per week.

Seriously tho, the difference between Trump 45 and Trump 47 is very stark. I think the person most surprised by Trumps first election success was Trump himself. Back then, he seemed to have announced his run for the Presidency as a bit of a lark and then didn't quite know what to do when he won. The political machine schooled him harshly over the last 9ish years but, to their dawning and complete chagrin, they completely underestimated how much he would learn from what they were teaching. And now they are the ones caught by surprise and are floundering around like a beached fish. They will soon begin to smell like a dead fish and hopefully, we'll be done with them for a little while.

Winston Churchill proved to be the absolute embodiment of a Lion when Britain needed one. But you cannot ignore how quickly he was discarded after his services were deemed to be no longer required. The personal pronoun rapist immigrant cesspool Britain is currently swimming in a mere 80 years later is indicative how far and how fast the fall from the heights can be.

I appreciate the comment Ed and it's on point.

President Trump in an interview a few weeks ago (can't remember with who or where) said something to the effect," I'm a business guy, not a politician, so I didn't really understand the political thing".

Of course, he is a quick and brilliant study and that has resulted in what we see today.

You're point about Churchill explains well, not the Lions, Foxes or even Wolves, but the historic fickleness and stupidity of the people. It is they who determine what archetype rises and then how long it remains in power.

We will be and act no different, here and in this time, which is lunacy.

This is the most important part:

"The wolves, for their part, can instinctively smell weakness and just keep coming."

If that isn't accepted as true, then it matters not if the rulers are foxes or lions.

Also, consider that Machiavelli has been thoroughly downplayed, along with many others (Pareto f.e.) at universities, especially in pol-sci and political economy (the latter is what economics used to be called, since all economic policy is political and vice versa) ever since higher education was made available to the public.

Meanwhile, the elite's private instituti0ons of learning retain the classical curriculum, including logic and ethics and rhetorics.

Now, why would one want to remove certain subjects from educational canon, just because it is made public?

PS: To extend the Machiavellian metaphor, we now live under a court of Fools (media and entertaintment) who believes that a Wolf can be made vegan.

Great Comment Rikard!!

I would differ that the court of fools know the Wolves can’t be vegans, but it is their stock and trade to sell that 7lie and narrative to the masses who maniacally lined up to buy it. The media for their part are like the frog carrying the scorpion across the stream, who never think it will be stung and drown. We are seeing some of the worst of the propaganda talking heads here in the States, drowning now and good riddance.

You are correct in your initial observation, if one cannot recognize the Wolf, then it matters not. I am satisfied that President Trump has gained this insight and has dispatched the pride of lieutenants to find and kill them. He may not get them all, but what he does decimate, will set up the next Lion to continue the work…

If an only if the masses ensure a Lion is what is in power after these next 4 years.

An added bonus for Trump is that he'll find out immediately which pride-members who won't pull their weight, and which ones who might feel inclined to make deals with wolves.

And even more important: the weakest pride-members will get eaten by the wolves.

This is a great point and rings very true.

J.D. Vance especially sits in the role of identifying those wolves, in Lion's clothing, as it protects his place as heir apparent to the throne of the pride.

The others Trump has assembled if not loyal will be rooted out, but are not steeled to him, by a mutual persecution and hatred from the deep state. They are all fighting the same wolves now and that was the genius of him choosing the leaders he did.

The people are the key though. They have to stay resolute and engaged and maintain the Lion/Fox leader for as long as possible - for the repairs and restoration to have the chance to solidify.

As a Brit, I'm too ashamed to comment.

However, thank you for posting - hopefully some proactive folk will read, be inspired and act!
