In todays world, where the indoctrination mills run 24/7, should we consider counting generations differently, from a political stand point?
Since the turn of the century, the time span of a generation has ranged anywhere from 10 years (1975 – 1985 “Xennials”) to 20 years (1925-1945 “the silent generation”).
From a statistical standpoint, it made sense to use a standard based on average time intervals, between the birth of parents and their offspring. However, when trying to understand the ideological landscape and future we face, we must come up with an alternate or parallel definition.
Proposed definition:
Generation - Those occupying each educational grade level, K thorough 12, at any one time.
That means there are 13 individual generations, matriculating through the educational system, in any given year.
Where the historic definition was age based, the new one is based on yearly indoctrination and or grooming cycles.
In the last 3 years, the left, unintentionally gave parents a view of what was being put in the proverbial “educational” sausage. Parents for the first time, discovered the indoctrination and grooming taking place in classrooms, around the world. As we’ve all seen, this starts in kindergarten and persists to well past the twelfth grade. However, after twelfth grade, ideologies are rooted and the “adults” take their places in the woke agenda and cause.
Let’s look at a practical application of this new definition.
Most agree there’s a deliberate, sanctioned, leftist indoctrination & grooming program, running rampant in the education system, K-12. Most also agree, that these programs are at least 50% effective…meaning that half the exposed students, are successfully brainwashed…which is truly a conservative estimate…especially when you think of the impressionability of a 5 year old. This doesn’t take into account the exposure “over spray” experienced, by the other 50%. This in itself, has an effect in normalizing these ideologies, on some level.
Additionally, these leftist programs have been in place for at least the past 30 years.
According to the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), between 2007 to 2022, the number of high school graduates (per year) was 3 million or more. Prior to that (back to 1980) that number was lower, but above 2.5 million, per year.
If we stick with an indoctrination & grooming success rate of just 50%, then from 2007 to 2022, each year there were 1.5 million brainwashed voters, hitting the streets. That’s a total of 22.5 million, in that 15 year period. Those useful idiots, went on to become politicians, counselors, psychiatrists, college professors, tech moguls, lawyers, “journalists”, reporters, authors, actors, musicians, sports figures, parents, activists, schoolboard members, and K-12 teachers.
Only when considering the following, is the gravity of this indoctrination & grooming assembly line realized. For every one of those new leftist walking across the graduation stage…a new lump clay, walks through the kindergarten classroom door and is greeted by a woke, indoctrination-ist.
If you apply this “one in-one out”, indoctrination cycle globally, it becomes clear how western nations/governments have fallen to and been taken over, by the left. It’s a numbers game, pure and simple.
We need to start counting political generations, based on the numbers of indoctrinated graduates, being churned out yearly. It’s these new foot soldiers of the left, that we’ll have to face, in the fight to get our societies and respective countries back. If you need proof of this, read the following article.
The conservative, myopic “knee jerk reaction”, of focusing on the 1001 latest new things to pop-up, keeps us blind to the assembly lines, that make them possible…which is what the left wants.
No one has done a better job exposing the origins of the current global mess we’re in, than Libs of Tiktok. Her work has made it clear, that the methodical and deliberate planting of seeds was key, in our arriving at this point of societal chaos.

I’ve found The Fourth Turning (Straus & Howe) an extremely helpful “lens” through which the generations made the most sense to me.
